Sara Crean-Muir 

Clinical Director

 

has over 20 years  experience in mental health care, including senior management in the NHS, voluntary sector and business support of care homes.

 

Sara has managed a specialist NHS community mental health team for older people, delivering quality health and social care to those suffering with a dementia &/or mental disorder.  Sara has several years experience working in A&E psychiatric liaison and crisis work. 

 

Sara is a member of the Institute for Healthcare Management and is registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.  She is also a Senior Associate of the Royal Society of Medicine.

 

Sara is a creative, resourceful individual with a genuine interest in integrated health & social care and clearer pathways, to produce a better service user experience on their journey to recovery.  She values grassroots community engagement as key to delivering effective customer co-production in the changing health & social care space.

 

Sara founded Adventus Care Solutions Ltd in 2013 and since then has delivered several successful programmes of change management and quality improvement in primary care & CAMH services and acute hospital avoidance schemes.  She enjoys working in governance and service improvement in challenging statutory services & has led on pre-CQC quality inspections.

Sara has a particular interest in organisational development & workforce dynamics and is currently in the final year of a Masters degree in Consulting to and Leading in Organisations using Psychodynamic and Systemic Approaches at the Tavistock & Portman, London.
